Augmented Reality Used in Math Class

How to Connect Technology and the Common Core

This book is available for download with Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device. Multi-touch books can be read with Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device. Books with interactive features may work best on an iOS device. Apple Books on your Mac requires OS X 10.9 or later.

Description

This book explores the concept of Augmented Reality in the math classroom.  The author presents a series of trigger images that she used in her Algebra I and Algebra II math classes over the course of three months.  Each Augmented Reality trigger can be scanned with the app LAYAR to reveal some sort of flipped classroom activity.  Each AR trigger presented in the book is also linked to the Common Core State Standards.  This is a great way to infuse technology into your math class while using the Common Core.
