Love left me off its to-do list.
I date. I'm all for giving guys a chance. I've just never met the one.
Until on a spring morning in the English countryside, a tall, dark stranger emerges from the mist. Logan Steele is all tousled hair, hard chest and lips so perfect I want to reach out and touch them just to check they're real. I'm sure that's a thunderclap of chemistry I feel between us.
Did I mention he's an Earl with a self-made fortune?
A billionaire who works tirelessly for charity?
And he's so hot, watching him is like staring at the sun.
But like I said, love isn't rooting for me.
When I find out Logan Steele is out to destroy everything I've dedicated my life to protect, the chemistry disappears and the hope that had blossomed my chest turns to rage.
It no longer matters that he quickens my pulse just saying my name, weakens my knees with a single touch and that he might just be the greatest kisser that ever lived.
I might believe in love but Logan Steele is definitely not the one.
A standalone romance.
So Beautiful Story
This story is so beautifully written! I haven’t listened to the other books in the Series yet, so I can tell you can read/listen this story as a standalone BUT, I believe the best is to listen/read the Regal World Series in order (King of Wall Street, Park Avenue Prince, Duke of Manhattan, The British Knight and then The Earl of London).
I absolutely love Darcy and Logan’s story. Their chemistry is really strong and steamy. Darcy is so sweet and strong at the same time, feisty and beautiful. Darcy is a wonderful and adorable character. Logan is handsome and so complicated. Don’t get me wrong, I like complicated characters and I really love Logan. I wanted to shake him so many times! He has problems with commitment and he doesn't want anyone to count on him. Logan and Darcy are very opposite characters. I love all about this story. The storyline is filled with moments in the London city and the Woolton Village (The countryside scenery was beautiful). So, it’s like the past and the present were collided or like reading a contemporary romance melted with a Historical Romance. Of course, I also like the secondary characters (Logan’s grandmother, Ryder, Scarlett and Aurora, Darcy’s best friend).
The narration was really, really well done. The narrators give a stunning interpretation of each character. OMG! Shane East as Logan is just so perfect! His voice is so beautiful, warm and sexy ❤️ Imogen Church was a new narrator to me and I believe she was a great choice for Darcy’s voice. She brings Darcy to life with all the intensity and sweetness we can expect for this wonderful character.
I have read an ARC of this book and fortunately the audiobook went out immediately and I bought it so I can read and listened to it. I totally recommend this book.
