A great read!
I have this feeling of nostalgia throughout the book. The relationship between Mr Stevens and Miss Kenton is well captured in the author’s superb use of English to the point that I have to reread numerous paragraphs just to appreciate his way of articulating some of the most profound and subtle feelings between the two. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from beginning to the end.
Remains of the Day
I bought this book on Apple Books and it failed to download completely, won’t let me reload, and so I am stuck at page 22. Not good value for money and darn - it is a book I really want to read.
