Plot Summary

"The wait is over, America -- Ron Burgundy is back and “funnier than ever,""* in an ALL-NEW EXTENDED CUT, too outrageous for theaters! After losing his job to his wife and co-anchor, Ron reassembles the news team and squares off against a new rival. Will the world's greatest anchorman be crushed beneath the weight of his own ego (and his salon-quality hair)? Anything goes in the outrageous comedy that critics are calling “one of the funniest movies of the year!”**
* Liam Mayclem, CBS-TV
** Richard Roeper, CHICAGO SUN TIMES

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Wine connoisseurs would call this a new Burgundy with an old bouquet. – Richard Corliss, TIME Magazine, Dec 19, 2013

Fresh: This is the kind of movie where most people know what they want and are pretty sure what they will get, that being "more of the same, please." – Andrew O'Hehir, Salon.com, Dec 19, 2013

Rotten: The jokes are more weird than funny, and Ferrell and Carell, never the most subtle of performers, labor to put them across by bellowing, howling, and screeching. – J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader, Dec 19, 2013

Fresh: Anchorman 2, which McKay again directed and co-wrote with Ferrell, is honourable as far as sequels go, building on the memorable moments of its predecessor rather than simply recycling them. – Jake Wilson, The Age (Australia), Dec 23, 2013

Terrible

The first anchorman was at least funny this was horrible, I had to turn it off after an hour as I actually felt I was getting stupider just watching it.

S T U P I D

Talented prof actors stooping to unfunny over-the-top unintelligent childlike humour constantly referring to sex at every angle —if you are entertained by this, go for it. I like humour but this isn’t that.

Terrible

this movie is honestly the worst movie i have ever watched in my whole life, there is humour and there is bad, and this is just bad bad bad.

not only did i waste 5$ on renting it, but i wasted 2 hours of my life, wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
