Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Chandni Chowk to China seamlessly adds kung fu to the usual blend of comedy, dance and melodrama.
Fresh: This Indian/Chinese cinematic hybrid is likable and entertaining but overlong and occasionally hokey.
Rotten: Sold as a groundbreaking convergence of Asia's leading cinematic influences -- kung fu flicks and Bollywood extravaganzas -- it can only be termed genre-mashup overkill.
Rotten: If only it were as much fun as its trailer!
This movie is worth your money, every time I watch this movie I always crack up....i can be a little far fetched, but it's still an amazing movie....
Weird, and I'm Indian
Ok, the movie's cute - but it's weird. You definitely get bang for your buck as it's painfully long. The plot line is a stretch, but hey, most bollywood movies are. Most will probably fast forward thru the dance and song segments. It's not the worst movie I've seen - definitely a good movie when you've got absolutely (I mean absolutely) nothing going on. I give this movie 2 stars because I was entertained as I invented my own dialogue as I watched the movie.
I love this movie, it's hilariousSome parts maybe kind of long but totally worth a watch. Definitley awesome! (By the way I'm Indian too and this movie rocked)
