Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It's not really funny enough to achieve grown-up cachet, and it's too ugly and violent for younger viewers. – Neil Genzlinger, New York Times, Sep 17, 2015

Rotten: I honestly have no clue who this film is for. Whoever they are, they're likely to walk out of the theater wanting a refund. – Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly, Sep 18, 2015

Fresh: If Cooties subscribes slavishly to the conventions of teacher movies, it at least has fun with them. – Nathan Rabin, AV Club, Sep 17, 2015

So stupid

This movie is so stupid that it's funny id recommend it to someone that has a good sense of humour and can laugh at movies that are dumb

Really funny

Zombie kids! Dwight from the office. Winner combo!!!

Hilarious and Warped

'Cooties' is highly amusing with its great cast and over-the-top zombie-like craziness.

Still, movie goers may have trouble shaking the uncomfortable feeling of seeing kids maimed. On the other hand, it’s hard not to receive warped joy out of seeing Rainn Wilson use sporting goods to fend off flesh-eating youth.
