With encouragement from his infamous friend and real life TV Chef Gordon Ramsay, Rob decides to spice up his life by turning a run-down country pub into a gourmet restaurant. Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Here is a new British film with an eternal, timeless kind of embarrassing awfulness.
Rotten: Ham, corn and cheese are the only things this kitchen is serving up - even before Gordon Ramsay's awful cameo.
This movie has a pleasant story line. It is simple and sweet. I would give it 3.5 stars if possible. It is not some silly computer generated movie and has both some humor and romance in it. I think the leading couple have a connection and were nice to watch together. Recommended as a pleasant and easy movie with some emotional value to it too. It was just a bit simple lacking a bit of wit and charm but still worth the see. ECS
A very simple story told poorly.
A simple story told poorly. The transitions between scenes at some point felt like a grade school video project and the villain was out of place in this very confused drama/"comedy". Not worth 1.5 hours to watch. The movie really had no redeeming qualities even if you are a foody and a fan of Gordon Ramsey. Note: Gordon Ramsey is only in the movie for 5 minutes and it is a very awkward 5 minutes at that.
