Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: This imbecilic, mean-spirited farce, which sneers at adults, leaves you wondering: where are the Three Stooges when we really need them? – Stephen Holden, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The great thing about comedy these days is that few people are making movies like Old Dogs. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Travolta, who delivers an impressively enthusiastic performance, seems to have no idea that he's stuck in one of the year's worst movies. The perpetually pained expression on Williams' face, however, suggests he knows otherwise. – Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Old Dogs does to the screen what old dogs do to the carpet. It's unfortunate that only the latter can be taken out and shot. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Jun 24, 2010

Me and my mom were crying of laughter
One of my favorite movies
And it's all ages not just kids !!

Listen you tomato people what do think you know about movies. You rate good ones like old dogs and leap year badly and horrible movies like Julie and Julia great. I think that you should read some of the ratings people like me put on and think about the whole not just yourself :-(

Déja Vu . . .

Old Dogs is like every other family bonding movie. It covers all of the necessary bases: guy-not-used-to-kids finds out he's a dad, awkwardness ensues, the best friend is dragged along, attempts at "bonding" are made, the dad gives up kids for job, dad has epiphany, dad swoops in to save the day, "actual" bonding ensues. Same old salami, people. But with neurotic co-workers and gorillas with attachment issues.
