About the Movie

TAKERS takes you into the world of a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Conceived and executed with just enough skill and flair to make you wish it were better. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Aug 27, 2010

Rotten: At least they do look sharp in those suits. – Adam Markovitz, Entertainment Weekly, Aug 27, 2010

Rotten: Even with all of the action, and with a few plot twists that are kinda cool, there's really not enough to Takers to make it worth your time. – Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times, Aug 26, 2010

Rotten: With no emotional heft to the performances, it's hard to care whether anyone's dreams are dashed or fulfilled. That leaves the heist itself to compensate, but it only digs deeper into tired action movie cliches. – Ian Buckwalter, NPR, Aug 27, 2010

Nice Action film

I really liked this movie the action was great and the actors made the plot interesting!! Chris Brown dose amazing stunts!!

Nice but you know...

Its a good movie, few things made it to be not the best movie but can't point it out. And you know those rotten tomatoes things (the critics from the newspapers), I would love to see them make a movie, since they have so much "skill".

And PS, no respect for the critics, its not even constructive critisism, its just random people who write things on paper bashing a movie.

The Best since "HEAT"

Finally again : A movie which keeps you pinned to the screen throughout the Movie. Excellent.....
