Blue blistering Barnacles!

When i first heard that Herge's books to be directed by the master of films Steven Spielberg, and Peter Jackson. This I was very happy to hear big time, and when i saw the movie for the first time. They..did it..they made the stroy more incredible, more mystery. And the best of all combining all three of my favorite books into one epic movie I ever seen in animation of 2011. I am proud to see this movie get good ratings, good reviews, and great acting too. Including to see my favorite character Capt. Haddock. So if you guys seek mystery, Pirates, guns, exploisons, comedy, and so much more, this is the ticket movie you wanna see and enjoy folks. Take it from me and plus Herge would be happy to see this today if he was still alive, God bless his soul

So take it from me folks, buy it, rent it, and enjoy this great movie from teh Master of Dinosaurs and E.T ^^

Once again, Another movie NOT available for rent through apple when it should be.. I'm getting more and more disappointed every time this happens. Which is more and more frequently. Local video stores would always have the newest movies available for rent on their release dates.. Why is this so hard for Apple???? Your making me second guess using apple tv for my rentals!! Which is sad cause it's SUPPOSED to be more easily accessible and convenient isn't it?

Wild animation, but NOT Hergé at all

The film is certainly the most beautifully animated movie ever done. However with the grossly over exagerated pursuits, this Tintin is not in the spirit of RG. Further its a mixture of several books and we quickly lose interest. Wanting to put so much in 105 minutes is ridiculous, we dont even get a chance to savour the set.
RG was dead serious in his books designed to educate and wake up young ones to realities of the world; his minimalist drawings left much to imagination. Strangely, it is what Spielberg achieved in Star Wars, but not in Tintin.
