This is an instant classic, with fast-paced scenes and plot stages beginning immediately. Inventive story lines weaving in and out complimented by really wonderful acting from everyone. I'm not sure how Heath Ledger thought up his version of the Joker, but it really is mesmerizing to watch. The range he has in acting to go from a tormented cowboy in Brokeback Mountain to this sociopath in the Dark Knight is really an incredible compliment to his (sadly former) abilities. His Joker is of those rare characters in film that command the screen whenever in frame: excellent 'watchability'. Brilliantly shot with a great screenplay and very well written. This is really terrific movie-making, and ultimately why I think we go to the movies in the first place. One of the best movies in the last 10 years for sure and, I hope, an Oscar nod for Heath (and his family). Absolutely fantastic: a must see. Enjoy.

Can't Wait Till It Comes Out On DVD!

This is probably one of my favorite movies! I strongly recommend that you buy it, the movie was very well done!

5 stars BUT

I am a huge batman fan and I thought the movie was AMAZING! But the two disc special edition is supposed to include a digital copy of the film which you can put on your ipod for free, so if you really liked this movie wait for the dvd instead of buying it
