Fresh: Hearing the personalities describe the transcendent tastes of different fruits has me wanting to hop the next plane to Hawaii just to taste a water apple. – Stephanie Merry, Washington Post, Jul 25, 2013

Fresh: More of a buffet spread than a single plate. But every morsel is worth a taste. – Peter Howell, Toronto Star, Nov 22, 2012

By its very nature, this documentary is lucious. Beautiful cinematography joins sumptuous descriptions of flavour & texture. And yes, this is the same documentary that was on CBC earlier in 2013, albeit the extended version.

A garden...

…a paradise. A lovely movie that is less like what some would call “food porn” but more like “food erotica”, if those terms are appropriate. Thought-provoking and discussion generating. Worth the time it took to watch.
