THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE narrates the true story of two brothers who embark on a remarkable quest to find meaning—and light—in a seemingly dark world. They begin their journey with the homeless on the streets of New York City, and continue on to spend time with orphaned children in Peru and the enigmatic lepers of Ghana. Their epic voyage across continents—and through tremendous suffering, hope, love, and forgiveness—awakens them to the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.
What a wonderful film about humanity
Incredibly moving, story told through the experiences of two brothers on that universal quest for meaning and lifes great questions. Who am I? What is my purpose? Do I matter? Thank you Jeff and Cliff for stepping out on this challenge and sharing it with the world. If not for Apple's iTunes I do not think I would ever have found such a great documentary film.
A bit on the cheesy side with little real information.
While I enjoyed the viewpoint of what it means to be human, I found some of the documentary to be slow moving and cheesy. While they experienced and covered some very interesting and important issues, they didn't share very much actual information. For example, they visited aids victims in africa and shared perhaps five or six sentences of what these people had to say. I guess it was almost as if the whole thing was a little too polished. Instead of feeling real, it seemed like they brushed the surface of it all. The one section I really enjoyed was the part about the lost children of Peru.
Not worth it
This feature length reality tv show was trite and over the top. It frequently contradicts itself and the soundtrack is like a Disney movie.
I can't get the part of my life back that I spent watching it....but I can warn you to save your time.
