Rotten: I can't believe that even the most rabid chick-flick masochists wouldn't gag on it. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Aug 14, 2007

Rotten: I couldn't spoil the plot if I wanted to, since I have no idea how it all ties together. – Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: I was hot to trot for the exit halfway through, but a dogged sense of duty kept me stuck in an endless present. – Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Bullock's decision to play Kate as a morose kill-joy is particularly inexplicable. She's getting letters from some hot architect through a hole in the time-space continuum, and yet her expression remains impassive, her voice flat, her outlook maudlin. – Bruce Newman, San Jose Mercury News, Jun 24, 2010

Love this movie!

This is a great love story eventhough people may be confused about the time that Kate and Alex live. They live 2 years apart. It simply like this: Kate's past is Alex's present. Since I am a big fan of Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeve, this is just another great movie that they play lovers after Speed.

A must see movie

I wasn't sure about the movie, and decided to watch it. I was amazed how well done this movie was. It was interesting how the two characters lived two years apart, and yet had such a deep connection. I especially liked the end how they were able to see each other.

Ought to be terrible

This movie ought to be terrible, but it has a kind of charm, both the setting and Sandra Bullock's performance, mostly. The time scenario doesn't quite make sense, it requires that history shift over the same terrain (2004-2006) in a way that doesn't quite hang together.
