About the Movie
Get high and mighty with Danny McBride, James Franco and Natalie Portman in Your Highness, the epic and hilarious action-comedy from the director of Pineapple Express. Two royal princes—slacker Thadeous (McBride) and the noble Fabious (Franco)—join with an elusive warrior (Portman) on a quest to free a princess from an evil wizard. Along the way, they’ll have to vanquish horrific creatures and traitorous knights in this raunchy trip loaded with footage too outrageous for theaters.

Rotten: Dudes, we get it.
Rotten: In theory, I suppose it would be funny-and incongruous-if in the middle of a serious costume drama a noble action hero uttered a four-letter word. Hearing Danny McBride do just that, repeatedly, in Your Highness not only isn't funny but grows wearisome...
Rotten: Obviously the makers of Your Highness are competing with Zack Snyder in the race to see who can waste money fastest and in the most outrageous manner possible.
Rotten: The movie coughs, splutters and nods off on the job repeatedly -- as if everyone hit the weed so hard they forgot there were cameras rolling.
I really loved this movie.. I'm a huge fan of Zooey, James, and Natalie, and this movie was awesome!! It's suppose to be FUNNY and not all serious, which is obviously not what all the Rotten Tomatoes critics can see, don't listen to them... maybe they're all in their fourties and would rather watch Julia Roberts; aka I know my mother wouldn't watch it. I DO, however, see this movie being more of a hit with the younger crowd, early twenties, people who actually think this stuff is hilarious. If you're looking for a good laugh (with or without the special brownies), definitely a good comedy to watch. If you liked Pineapple Express, you'll LOVE this movie!
loved the movie
thanks to rotten tomatoes i wasnt too keen on watching this heroic tale. but soon i put aside thy foolish judgment and enjoyed this heart warming action and comedy filled warm coconut of filmographic success.
GREAT movie and rotten tomatoes is a lot harsh and should ease up. if your a fan of mcbride, or natalie portman and james franco you will love his movie just because your aware of the history of these actors if your not a fan or have no idea who they are because.. idk youve been segregated from civilization.. watch the movie anyway because its awesome
