One of South America’s biggest pop stars and most famous drag queens, Pabllo Vittar writes vibrant, tropical love songs infused with Brazilian rhythms. But she’s using her voice for more than music. By daring to be herself on a global stage, she’s hoping to change the country’s culture–which is notoriously anti-LGBTQ–and be the role model she never had. “Brazil is not just about soccer and samba and jungle,” she says. “Brazil is about many colours, many rhythms.”
