A Wonderful Surprise

While some parts of this video look strained, and it feels really weird whenever you see Randy playing the guitar, the song is catchy and the outfits and dancing are mesmerizing. Some say that Paula looks old in this, but really, she's not 20 -- why would you expect her to look like she is? Personally, I think she looks much younger than she actually is in this, and Randy just looks like he always does. People shouldn't expect this to be a Britney Spears video -- Paula Abdul is not Britney Spears. However, this IS a wonderful video; I totally didn't expect it to be so good (I don't particularly like Paula or Randy, so this video was a happy surprise). Oh, and by the way Paula, I think you sound and look MUCH better now than you did in the eighties.

It's so evident that she isn't singing! Horrible Song! Both Randy and Paula look old as well!

Amazing! Paula is definitely BACK!

This is classic Paula Abdul! It's excellent to have her back on the charts and as the video queen, she really didn't disappoint with her comeback. Just the fact that she's #10 on the Canadian Itunes video chart and # freakin' 1 on the US Itunes video chart shows that this is worth buying. So happy! And can't wait for her new album to see what she sends us next in the videos!

Lakers cheerleader and choreographer scored her first hit in 1989, when "Straight Up" shot to Billboard's number one spot, becoming the first of four U.S. chart-toppers from her 1988 debut, Forever Your Girl; the others were "Forever Your Girl," "Cold Hearted," and "Opposites Attract," each earning a gold certification from the RIAA.
