At our company, Intelligent Futures, we talk to a lot of people about cities – like, a lot. Over the years, we’ve talked about what it takes to make cities better with urban planners, visual artists, not-for-profit organizations, entrepreneurs, politicians, urban gardeners, community volunteers, developers, kids, architects, scientists, transportation engineers, design thinkers and policymakers (to name a few). These conversations highlight that cities are complex, messy and ever-changing creations that are built by many hands in many ways. We thought that other people might find these conversations interesting too. So we started 360 degree city - a podcast that explores cities from a wide range of perspectives. We’ll be looking at the city from a whole bunch of angles. Never knew I'd like this
A podcast about urban design and planning didn't sound like something I'd like, but it turns out it's something that I love! The conversations that are had open up my eyes to the care and attention many people have towards desiging cities and the surprises that happen along the way. Highly recommend!
Love these insightful episodes, especially loved the interview with Mike Lydon regarding Tactical Urbanism!
Added to the playlist.
A great podcast examining all of the different elements that make up the cities we live in. Looking forward to seeing what's next.
