Getting Things Organized
This is the first podcast I listened to by you, Dr. Handelman. I like the way you organized it orally, but I still needed more stimulation, so I went online and followed the loose script. That helped me a lot to know what you were talking about and also what was coming up next. I had to get up a few times to grab a snack to further keep me busy! Anyways, I digress from the review.
I am going to go to Staples and find myself a Tickler box and files! I am so excited to get my paperwork under control. I am a teacher and paper comes at me all day long, every day. I have every hope that this will help me get work done on time and find what I need when I need it.
I finally have words to describe how my mind works now when I have an armful of papers and I'm running around the house trying to put them in their place (gathering vs. processing) and trying to read them too! I will try to separate the two in the future.
Thank you for the manageable length of your podcast. It's perfect to digest.
My suggestion for a future podcast would be "How to Create a Filing System That Really Works" for more permanent documents and papers. I am stuck there!
Awesome! Very helpful tips & tools & well-grounded research. I enjoy his voice & find him humble, open & willing to learn more and more so he can share it with all ADHDrs to help us all improve our lives. Very positive.
Great information in a practical manner
I started listening to a few ADHD podcasts for information for my ADHD son. However, I narrowed them done to just this one podcast. I'm very picky about podcasts but I like everything about this one and, to be honest, listen as much for myself as for my son. The info about organization, emotional control and video games particularly struck home. The podcaster also discusses the previous episode and listener comments at the beginning of each episode which helps reinforce the lessons and continuity of the previous podcast.
Highly recommend this podcast.
