Customer Reviews

Steve Paikin is one of the best interviewers in the country. The Agenda is a brilliant hour of in-depth conversation and intelligent, lively debate that has no equal on Canadian (or American, for that matter) television.

Best ever

I think the "Agenda" is much better than Studio 2. It has more depth. The discusion that follows the interview is very much balanced. Any American who may watch an Agenda episode should envy Canadians for thier honest and professnal programming. No shouting, No screaming, no cowing to the goverment point of view but honest discusion. Keep the good work Steve. where is the discusion part of the program ???????

Steve Paikin is an effective interviewer

I miss Studio 2 too. But this is a review of "The Agenda", so let's not compare the two. Pros: - fascinating choice of interviewees, both political (Dion, Ignatief, Rae, May, Manning) and others (Martin Short, Conrad Black, Adriene Clarkson) - very balanced interview approach (kudos to Steve Paikin) - the interviews are 15-20 minutes, IMHO the perfect length to strike a balance between covering topics in-depth and being "boring" Cons: - these were originally aired on TV, and sometimes they reference on on-screen image, quote or video clip. Small beef really, since it mostly just a one-on-one interview at a desk Great podcast if you are interested in current events or in these personalities
