Needs work

In the increasingly crowded field of foreign policy podcasting, this one does not yet stand out. I listened to the summer 2017 edition on Russia. Full marks to the hosts for bringing in the always eloquent and well-informed Mark Galeotti. Apart from getting that key choice right, however, they don't seem to have done their homework otherwise. Indeed they didn't even seem to understand that Dr Galeotti was an excellent catch, introducing him as someone with "controversial" views, without any further elaboration. Their own remarks on Russia were not particularly insightful and were expressed with a vagueness that left me wondering what their added value was.

Listened to the Catalonia episode. Again, rhetoric triumphed over fact, including claiming that all the countries in the entire Western Hemisphere were born in revolution (tell that to Canada, Belize, and many countries in the Caribbean). Also, Peter has to stop starting every other sentence with "Look!"
Sorry if this seems harsh but given the time commitment involved in listening to a podcast, I think it is fair to expect the hosts to contribute significantly. These ones didn't, at least on this episode.
