Description

The Canadian Couch Potato Podcast is a spin-off series from the Canadian Couch Potato blog, hosted by veteran journalist, author and investment advisor Dan Bortolotti. For the last eight years, Dan Bortolotti has written about index investing on his blog (CanadianCouchPotato.com) where he offers straight-up, practical advice for Canadians who want to learn more about investing using index mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Each episode of will feature an interview with a guest expert who will chat about a specific investing topic, takeaway messages from the discussion, a segment called “Bad Investment Advice,” where Dan pokes fun at a specific bit of unhelpful commentary in the financial media, and an Ask the Spud segment where, with the help of Dan’s PWL colleague Amanda Dalziel, he answers investing questions from listeners and blog readers.

Dan's blog has been a sense making beacon for Canadian for years. And now we get to hear him bring it to our ears! I'll be waiting for new episodes!

great return of investment for your time as listener :)

Great podcast. As an immigrant I'm really interested to know more about the investment opportunites in Canada. I really like the two last segments: the false good idea and the reader question We got straigt answers and commentary! 30-40 minutes is not too long, the perfect duration to talk about several issues in one episode.

huh?
