Join host Scott Aukerman ("Comedy Bang! Bang!" on IFC, "Mr. Show") for a weekly podcast that blends conversation and character work from today's funniest comedians. While Scott begins by traditionally interviewing the celebrities, the open-door policy means an assortment of eccentric oddballs can pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry. With all that, and regular bonus episodes, we bet your favorite part will still be the plugs!Looking for the archives? All episodes older than 6 months can be found exclusively on Howl.FM, ad-free. Great place to find out when and where some comedians will be places!

I usually only listen to the last few minutes of each podcast in order to hear the always amazing "plugs" section. It's really rewarding to find out that some genuinely funny people (I assume) are going to be in towns not my own. Sometimes the comedians will be in Los Angeles, other times they will be appearing at a different place in Los Angeles. Occasionally the comedians venture up to the great white north, such as a time when they went to Calgary apparently. Maybe the various comedians discuss how their trip to Calgary went, but I wouldn't know, as they don't do so in the "plugs" section. That would not constitute a plug I guess.

Best podcast

This show is definitely the funniest on iTunes. I have two brief criticisms. One, I would like Scott to be more clear about how to play 'Would You Rather.' It would be nice if every now and then he reminded us how to play, or what, for instance, might constitute a classic 'Would You Rather' blunder. Second, I wish the plugs section were more prominent. Week in, week out, the plugs segment is simply riveting. Earwolf should strongly consider launching a plugs-only podcast.

Favourite Podcast...and it's free!

I started listening to this after really enjoying a Never Not Funny episode with Scott Aukerman....and this has overtaken NNF as my favourite podcast out there right now. Since I started listening, approx. a year ago, my taste in comedy has totally changed for the better. If it wasn't for Comedy Death Ray Radio, I wouldn't know anything about Paul F Tompkins, Seth Morris, James Adomian, Harris Wittels or Tig Notaro. can't ever go wrong with an episode of CDR Radio. It's definitely worth taking a chance on if you're on the fence.'s free. Commence download in 5-4-3-Nose-1....
