Inspiring, spicy, fun, joyful and uplifting live and unplugged yoga classes taught by Pittsburgh yoga teacher Elsie Escobar. Classes range from strong beginners to advanced. They are 1hr or 1hr and 15 min. Depending on the level and length of the individual class they may include all or some of the following: a theme, meditation, pranayama, warm ups, sun salutations, standing poses, arm balances, hip openers, thigh stretches, backbends, forward bends, cool down poses and relaxation. Remember, the class is live and Elsie is teaching to what she sees. It's designed to include you into the class experience, to participate in deeper ways. This is not a "flow" or "power yoga" class. It includes power and flow, but more emphasis on alignment. You never know what's coming but it always proves to be a blast! Strap on your seatbelts and go for the ride! If you live in Pittsburgh or come for a visit Elsie is available for private instruction :)

A really fun class!

I really love how there are different levels of classes and how each class has a specific focus. I think Elisie does a great job keeping the class fun and interesting and also balanced. I find her descriptions really good and she gives some great tips on how to achieve your best in each pose. She's obviously a fun and uplifting person and I'd love to take a class with her in person!

A True Gift

Elsie's Yoga Classes are a true gift, particularly for anyone interested in practicing Anusara Yoga. They are great to use at home when you do not have access to regular classes at a studio/gym, or if you just want to do a well-taught, fun class! The levels indicated are accurate to the level of class, and if you are new to yoga, try a level 1 class. Elsie's instructions are clear and consise, and you can be assured of a safe class. Check out her site for pictures of each of the postures, just in case you get confused. These podcasts have been a phenomenal gift to me.

Great Podcast!

I am new to Yoga, basically using it for Meditation and relieving back pain. I have listened to some of Elsie's podcasts - lessons and Yoga Nidra and they are great. Thanks!
