AMAZING & Totally validating.

I have felt this way about lots of Christian ministries, such as ywam or short term missions that just repaint a house for the 11th time. This podcast helps me feel like I’m not the only black sheep. I’ve always been sceptical because in our Christian society you don’t really think everything through you just trust fall into what you think you’ve heard the lord say to you. Super validating and I just love hearing new perspectives. Keep them coming guys!

Great show!

Loved the show! It was bang on with my own experiences growing up as a missionary kid, and then (somehow) working with a mission org as an adult, though briefly. Churches need to seriously think about the implications and repercussions of short term missions in particular but also missions in general. This podcast does that in smart and thoughtful ways. And I'm excited to hear more. 🙈🙉🙊🌏🌍👶🏽👶🏾👶🏿🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💰💰💰🛫🏝🛫🏖🛫🍬😇🤦‍♀️🤮

Honest, thought provoking.

So interesting and an honest conversation about what exactly we all think we're doing. I often felt like asking these types of questions got me into trouble of caused me to be "red flagged". I also met some super lazy "missionaries" who would conviently disappear when it was time to do something helpful that wasn't glamorous or photo worthy (make a meal etc.)

It's wonderful to see these topics being discussed in an honest and respectful way. I can't wait for more episodes.
