The best, most intriguing newscast

I first started listening to FOOC when I was 17 - that was twenty years ago. While there have been periods over the two decades where I briefly stopped listening, it was not for the content. FOOC is intelligent, thoughtful commentary that opens your mind to global issues and enables you to appreciate humanity and the commonality we all share (or aspire to share). Although it has changed the way it is streamed (I used to listen to it on my shortwave radio) It has not changed its' format over the years. It is truly a remarkable news show that continues to educate you week after week, year after year.

News with soul indeed...

From our own correspondent adds the human dimension to the otherwise sterile and flat delivery of most newscasts.

The correspondents add names, places, gestures and generally give you a sense that you are listening to a proper life experience, which is a nice break away from the scrolling ticker or the ephemeral top 10 news being read at the moment. It's also nice to see that foreign correspondents have a mind of their own.

I always look forward to the next episode.

This is news with soul...

I am a eager listner who always looks forward to hearing highly informative (human) stories narrated with compassion.
