Perfect content for a Podcast and extremely well done!

Mignon Fogarty has chosen the perfect topic for the Podcast format. The potential audience for a Podcast like this is huge when you consider that all of the people who listen to Podcasts likely write and many of them care about how they write. If you regularly have questions about how best to communicate using the written word, then “Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing” is for you. Mignon selects commonly misunderstood concepts in grammar for each installment and provides practical tips often together with illustrative examples for each. Her Podcasts are educational, often entertaining, and useful. They are the best two to seven minutes I spend with myiPod each week. I tell all who will listen about this Podcast. I communicate regularly to large audiences about Web 2.0, its characteristics, opportunities, and challenges. I never forget to mention this little gem when I discuss Podcasting. I must admit that writing a review of a Podcast on grammar is bit strange. I’m rather self-conscious as I write this. I should also point out that this is the second time I’ve written this. The first time, I clicked on the “preview” button iniTunes and it rudely told me that the session had timed out. There was no way I could find in iTunes to get back to what I wrote. So much for Apple’s reputation as a leader in ease of use! My advice to anyone else who is planning to write a review iniTunes is to use some other program to do the writing and then cut and paste the text into the iTunes page. Keep up the great work, Mignon. Love your Absolute Science Podcast too.

Great podcast!

One of the best podcasts available. I am trying to write in the active voice, and avoid overuse of of. Oops. Very useful, and always entertaining. Finally, the "that" vs. "which" mystery has been properly explained to me!

Glamour Girl's take note!

I couldn't have asked for a better podcast. Her voice is pleasant, authoritative yet humble. This podcast SHOULD be at the top of the list. Everyone will benifit by subscribing.
