Description

Each month I sit down with a friend to discuss history not as a lecture, but as a conversation. The aim of the program is to foster curiosity about and understanding of history by telling engaging, relatable stories in a narrative structure.

Fantastic Podcast

Great podcast that is not well known. The format is the host (Adam) talking to someone who doesn't know much about the topic so that they get interesting questions and asides while going through the historical topic. Generally 2 episodes for each topic and a huge variety of topics throughout history. Cannot reccomend hightly enough! Based on the titles some of the topics didn't interest me, but upon listening I found those to be some of the best episodes. Definitely give it a try!

Give it a go

One of the most approachable history podcasts a round

Bite-size, approachable, diverse

Can't put my finger on exactly why I enjoy this podcast so much... I've listened to a lot of audiobooks and Great Courses series (which are tens of hours), so maybe it's the shorter format, two one hour segments, ish, that are easier to fit in. Maybe it's the conversational nature, where the guest often asks questions that I would ask. Or maybe it's the diversity of topics. Anyway, give it a try.
