A weekly talk show ruminating on exactly what is wrong in the world of Apple and related technologies and businesses. Nothing is so perfect that it can't be complained about. Hosted by John Siracusa & Dan Benjamin.

Two guys worth listening to

Once again, Dan Benjamin has put together a great show that is well worth my time. John Siracusa is one of the brightest people in tech., and even though he is a lover of Apple products, he’s not afraid to say what’s on his mind about what’s wrong with some of their hardware and software.

The show is not strictly Apple but goes into other aspects of tech. such as backup and television. I have really enjoyed this 5by5 podcast and I’m glad Benjamin and Siracusa found the time to squeeze in this interesting and hypercritical look at what Nerds and Geeks love to talk about.

Amazing, and not just for Apple geeks

I'm an Apple product enthusiast, so I started listening to this podcast for that reason. Siracusa definitely knows Apple and can critique their products in an insightful and fascinating way.

What I've realized listening, however, is that he's good at critiquing Apple products, because he's got a keen eye for quality. Listening to the podcast gives good insights into the design of our world, not just Apple products.

And, as always, Dan Benjamin is a great and eminently likable host. Well worth listening to.

Superb Tech Podcast

This is my favourite Tech podcast. So far the "signal to noise" ratio is great. Very focused on the subjects being discussed. Hopefully Dan and John can keep up the quality.
