Shocking! Mur Inspires All!

I Should Be Writing is just the right is just the right podcast to get you in the seat and writing. Mur Lafferty is inspirational, and provides you with writing tips, author interviews, and (yay!) personal updates! ISBW is an amazing podcast, and after four years of podcasting I am very surprised to be the first one to write a review! Go Mur!

Awesome Cast

This is one of the best podcasts about writing that I have listened to, and it constantly works with my schooling in a Creative Writing degree in helping to answer questions that I have when I'm stuck, in a block, or need help with general writing tips. Mur's style of working in her personal experience's along with interviews of current authors is awesome and makes for a fun podcast to listen to and I definitely recommend this to everyone.

Light a Fire

One of the best podcasts I've heard, and certainly my favorite in writing! Mur has a conversational style that is the antidote for a lot of the stiff, rehearsed stuff you'll hear. She's certainly comfortable behind the mic, and breaks up her show into segments that reduce the audio fatigue that is common to other shows. She's a voice of experience, but close enough to the early stages to be relatable to us beginners!
