A bi-weekly improvised comedy podcast in the style of old-time radio shows like Inner Sanctum or X Minus One, Illusionoid is performed by Paul Bates (CTV's Dan For Mayor, Second City), Lee Smart (Comedy Network's 5th Quadrant, Second City) and Nug Nahrgang (Dark Rising: Summer Strikes Back, SyFy's Scare Tactics). In the distant future, humanity has its last stand against the tyrant computer ILLUSIONOID. A lone survivor sends messages backwards through time in hopes that he can provide a warning of the danger to come. Will you heed his warnings? Open your ears and hone your senses, for without immediate action, none can escape the future that is ILLUSIONOID. Like our page on Facebook!

More and More Please

Wow - marrying the best improv comedians with retro sci-fi radio was just MADE for me. Dr. Carstairs is an enigmatic figure, so I just wanted to mention him.

The material is weird, angular and inspiring. Sometimes when I am on the subway I visualize the other TTC riders as characters, or people in the audience at the SoCap theatre and it makes it that much better.

Well done, folks. ps. Why'cha get a lady involved so it's not so broey ? Just a suggestion, though, I'm not bringing you down with this I know. Also maybe once a season you talk about Illusionoid. The messages and warnings from moon base are too cryptic for me.

Some other stuff:
- The characters don't eat very often. They ordered food in 'Smile' but didn't eat anything.
- There's some kind of bias towards weird experiments, and claustrophobic settings like subs, space capsules and such. How about having characters walking through wide open fields ?

Anyway, great stuff thanks.

Goofy people

It is 2 am. These guys are goofy, Professor Carstairs. I need car stairs.

Laugh out loud!

So funny and creative!
