In Sickness + In Health is an audio podcast, hosted by Cara Gael O'Regan, about our relationships with our bodies, and issues of chronic illness, disability, healthcare, and mortality. Y'know, the fun stuff. It is a show where the personal is political, and where bodily autonomy, healthcare, and disability rights are considered human rights without question.

This is my life

I just discovered the In Sickness + In Health podcast, and my boyfriend and I sat here and listened to it… Just shaking our heads at every familiar moment. I teared up several times. I’ve been on this frustrating rollercoaster trying to get medical help, seeing doctor after doctor, being treated like a criminal rather than someone who’s sick…for YEARS. This podcast could not have come at a better time. You guys really, really get it.

Five stars

I would highly recommend this podcast for anyone dealing with chronic, invisible illness or disability. The podcast is smart, honest, thoughtful and fun. Cara and her guests just get the crazy complications chronic illness can bring, and it's so nice to hear it finally discussed in a no-reservations kinda way!

Interesting, relevant topics.

Enjoyed the few episodes I listened to, but found them a bit confusing without audio cues (music, etc) to indicate transitions between parts of the episodes, like intro, ad, interview. Not sure if that is all of the episodes are just the ones I listened to. Other than that, good. Interesting, relevant topics.
