girl interrupted

J has a tendency to interrupt his guests quite often (especially the women), to the point that it becomes difficult and frustrating to listen to the interviews at all. He seems to need to turn every point by the interviewee into a story about his own life, and it feels like while the person is speaking he just can't wait to jump in and talk about himself or finish the other person's thought. Unfortunately, this tendency diminishes what are otherwise interesting and informative conversations with yoga teachers.

Interview with Erich Schiffmann

All of J. Brown’s podcasts are great, but his latest one with Erich Schiffmann is even greater than usual. Listen! You will learn something.

Listen more, interrupt less

I was so excited to hear a podcast with Bernie Clark. Unfortunately i had to turn this off. Bernie was not able to speak....J Brown interrupts Bernie constantly, interjecting his own stories.

Instead of Bernie’s experiences and knowledge, be prepared to hear a good ten minutes about the hosts pull up practice.....and all J Brown’s thoughts....about everything.

I listen to many podcasts. This is perhaps the worst hosting I’ve ever heard.

Don’t waste your time.
The one thing I did learn was how patient Bernie was with him. I’m sure he was wondering why he was on the podcast after a few minutes. But he handled it with grace. He’s great.
