Description

Kaleigh Moore and Paul Jarvis talk about all things related to the business of freelancing. We’re talking clients. Pricing. Landing projects. Getting paid. Managing revisions (endless revisions). Finding clients and connecting with them in a way that feels right for you. If you’re like most freelancers, it’s the business stuff that keeps you awake at night, not the actual writing, programming or designing. That’s where the Creative Class podcast comes in. Kaleigh and Paul have over 20 years of combined experience freelancing with some of the biggest names and companies in the world, including: Microsoft, Yahoo, Mercedes-Benz and their work has been featured in: Wired, Fast Company, LifeHacker, USAToday, Newsweek and more.

Customer Reviews

Best podcast for a freelancer starting out!

I listened to the entire first season on a long drive and felt the stress and anxiety about where I am in my freelance business melt away with each episode. It’s not rocket science, I don’t have to re-invent any wheels - I can rely on the experience of others who have come before me and make changes in my business that work for me! Thanks Kaleigh and Paul!!!

Great podcast. Valuable advice.

I have been a freelancer for a few years now, but I still find most of the advice valuable and useful. Kaleigh and Paul love what they do and you can hear it in their voice. It is easy to follow and to listen to and I laugh a lot when they share anecdotes (and cautionary tales).

I have listened to the first three episodes so far, and I have noticed that they agree on mostly everything, and I sometimes find it unfortunate to not hear another point of view on certain topics. For example, they both recommend freelancing on the side before quitting your day job, while my philosophy was more "You need to jump off the plane if you want the parachute to open" and I wish we could have heard the arguments for both (or even more!) points of view. Still a great podcast that I recommend to all my freelancer (and aspiring freelancer) friends.

Love the freelancer advice

As a new freelancer I find, as usual the advice from Paul Jarvis is so valuable. The addition of Kaleigh Moore was refreshing and I enjoy her perspective and humor (or humour as we say in Canada eh?) Creative Class is a great course for newbies and this podcast is a wonderful bonus for people just starting out and for seasoned freelancers just looking for a bit more direction.
Thanks and keep up the good work
