Informative and Bland

The podcast is very informative and the producers manage to attract some decent talking heads but, my lord, can you do something about the production value? The podcast mostly sounds like a guy in a closet with a microphone. I can’t help but imagine this as a high school media arts year end project and even then it reminds me of oatmeal - it serves its purpose but offers nothing in terms of flavour.

Macleans?

Not very interested in this podcast as Macleans believe Canada should only have an standing army to dig Quebec out of snowstorms, they shouldn’t be armed and if we did (as they point out) that we would save 1 billion dollars, at the cost of our national security. Instead of the obvious answer of stop giving CBC almost 2 billion a year at the cost of Peter Mansbridges hair plugs and Mary Walsh’s rehab.

This is the type of “intellectual stimulation” you will receive from this program. The people whom work at this publication are so out of touch with the public they are in a vacuum chamber all their own. How can you still operate with no magazine sales, poor public response, and a free podcast?

Little bit short

I can’t believe I am saying this but this podcast is a touch short in terms of getting you up to date with what has happened in the week of Canadian Politics. I would love a touch more depth on some of the topics that are talked about
