No-Budget Nightmares is a film/comedy podcast that focuses on low/microbudget/shoestring/no-budget Films. Hosts Moe Porne and Doug Tilley scour the depths of cinema to try and find the diamonds in the rough - rare as they may be - in the no-budget community. Using sound clips and commentary, the two break down each film covered in great detail, explaining what does and doesn't work and ultimately hoping to serve as both a celebration of ingenuity, as well as a “what not to do” for aspiring filmmakers.

Microbudget Madness!

If you love no-budget, ultra low-budget or microbudget cinema, you owe yourself to listen to (and read!) No-Budget Nightmares. Covering some of the most obscure shot-on-video and straight-to-video oddities, the podcast breaks every film down in great detail while the two hosts uproariously attempt to describe the action. It's so much fun, it should be illegal.

I love low budget movies…they love low budget movies...

…so I love this podcast!

Been listening since the early days, in part because the movies they review are so amazingly bad they’re good (when we’re lucky) but mostly because of Doug and Moe’s chemistry. They have always reminded me Gene and Bryan of Hometown Tales, which is a very VERY good thing.

For fans of conversational podcasts, who love hearing people rip apart bad movies…but also love when people find the silver lining - the magical moments, the creativity that can only come from having no money to throw at a problem, the bad acting that carries a horribly written film and makes it classic rather than trash.
