Thanks lots for these episodes! you guys are great and have lots of valuable information. This is well worth listening to. GREAT!
Making me smarter!
I've been writing and recording as a hobby since the 90s...started with Fostex 4-Track on tape, then to a Yamaha AW16G 16 tracker...now playing with Ableton and other software.
I can honestly say I never had a clue what I was doing, and always ran into the same obstacles.
This podcast has cleared up so many traps, given me loads of tips, and does it in a smart and fun way!
I have been receiving emails from Joe's daily updates and have just recently (due to this podcast) discovered Graham's website as well. I love what these guys are doing, and i am obsessed with their podcasts. They are excellent speakers and have a ton of great advice. I have slowly become more and more interested in music production over the last two years and these two guys have really helped guide me in the right direction and helped me forget about all the unimportant (and expensive) details.
If you like these podcasts then definitely check out what they have to offer on their websites. They don't try and scam you and convince you to pay more for anything then it's worth, which is what a lot of people seem to be doing on the Internet nowadays. I own a couple of Joe's tutorials already, and both of their product offerings are on my Christmas list this year ;) haha.
Keep up the good work guys! I look forward to hearing the next one! And I hope that one day I will be able to afford a plane ticket to Nashville to attend one of your Simply Recording Academy sessions!
