Customer Reviews

Clever, not snooty

The show is fun, clever, insightful, surprising and educational (that's not a bad word!). On the one hand, the hosts do their research, bring in great guests and are obviously passionate about language. On the other hand, they're not afraid to deal with swear words if that's what the job calls for.

Wonderful, witty and wise

I love this new show on Slate. Please keep episodes coming. I need more Scrabble tips!

Big fan of this podcast. The presenters manage to balance a passion for usage without being too pedantic. I hope slate keeps this podcast going.
