Description

Voted “Favorite Political Podcast” by Apple Podcasts listeners. Stephen Colbert says "Everybody should listen to the Slate Political Gabfest." The Gabfest, featuring Emily Bazelon, John Dickerson, and David Plotz, is the kind of informal and irreverent discussion Washington journalists have after hours over drinks.

My favourite podcast!

I subscribe to about 20 podcasts and this one is my favourite. The debate is healthy and fair even though obviously democratic. As a canadian listener, these issues are still meaningful and interesting to me.

Ego-less insight!

This podcast is so awesome because you can listen to people who know a lot about politics discussing it honestly, without any ego or slant: just opinions straight up. It's so hard when you listen to political commentary in most media because you're always worried about commentators' agendas. Here, I feel like I'm just eavesdropping on a conversation between 3 really politically-smart friends. Plus, each host brings their own specialty to the conversation which makes a great balance that is never boring.

best podcast ever

This is by far my favorite podcast. I find the level of analysis and nuance delectable.
