Description

Doc, Penny, and Jojo had a band that was going nowhere. Until they found a magical drum machine that transports them into their songs. From songwriter Jonathan Mann (Song-a-day) and producer Jonathan Mitchell (The Truth) comes a podcast inspired by 80’s cartoons about life as a struggling musician in the age of the internet.

Audio Fiction at its Finest

Imagine a universe where the songs you sing shape the world. Now imagine that world is in danger, and it can only be saved by an obscure indie band, a loveable monster, and a drum machine.
Songonauts is funny, charming, and the music is catchy as all hell. Jonathan Song-A-Day Mann doesn't just write music that will take up residence in your head for weeks, he tells stories, too.
You are going to fall in love with Doc, Penny, Jojo, & Buzzkill. And if you're anything like me, you're gonna be singing the Songonauts theme at the top of your lungs every episode. Recommended for music lovers, for audio drama geeks, for internet dwellers, and for anyone who's ever had a viral hit ("do the cookie duck dance!").
