Hey, what's happenin'? Mike Schmidt here, hoping you'll click that "Subscribe" button and join me every week for "The 40 Year Old Boy", a brutally funny stream-of-consciousness monologue about my life. It's been called, "the funniest answering message you'll ever receive", and I agree ... unless, of course, Paul F. Tompkins has ever called you. That guy is hilarious.

You Had Me At Lucite C*ck Ring Display
There I was, trying out my new IPod that my wife got me for my 40th birthday, only to learn that for your 40th, your wife gives the green light for a threesome...man, did I get jobbed. Mike Schmidt is a true, fast witted (and rediculously profane) comedy original! I already know more about this wife, his stripper producer and Peoria, Illinois than anyone should, and I enjoyed every minute. So hurry up and download before Mike is served with his divorce papers and his podcasts turn in to some sort of support group. Funny stuff!
This show is a must listen.
Wow, Mike Schmidt just keeps topping himself with every episode. This is a comedian who can combine humor and humanity in an irresistible package. Minimum 60 laughs per minute! He is an amazing story teller in an almost ‘Beat’ style. Mike Schmidt is brilliant, bordering on genius. I love this show! Keep at it Mike. I have told all my friends. You will not be disappointed.
Hitting His Stride...
I always said that Mike *made* Never Not Funny, and I'm glad to see he's finally succumbed to peer pressure to start his own podcast. I've only reached Episode 5 or 6, but so far so great! My only "negative" comment is that he needs guests -- his best moments are when producer Eric starts laughing in the background, which usually prompts Mike to liven up even more, and start riffing on the joke. Yes, he's hilarious on his own, but he really shines when he has one or two people to play off of. Either way though, I'm listening!
