Keep up the good work

Thanks for taking this on. I am enjoying the podcast quite a bit - It is getting better and better and I think I am possibly hooked!

For those that are enjoying history moving forward in the history of Byzanium (from Rome) - I also recomonend a Scott C.'s Ancient World which takes a look backward in time.

Proved me wrong!

When I heard that some random tv reviewer was continuing onwards from Duncan's History of Rome I scoffed at his hubris. I was wrong, it is totally solid, a really excellent and entertaining podcast on a complicated and convoluted historical period. Pierson really hits his stride in the most recent episodes and I do not hesitate to recommend it. One of my favourite podcasts I have on the go. Keep it up Robin!

Worthy successor

This podcast is a very worth successor to The History of Rome. Easy to follow, well written and professionally presented, I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough.
