In the era of being self reliant and having access to information instantly, its great to know there are experienced and inspiring dudes like Brian and his guests that are on the hunt to find new effective technologies, who can help us make sense of it all and keep aspiring artists on track to acheiving their goals.

Great down to earth advice for the everyday working musician

Hey, I am a solo musician and band member. I came across this blog last week through Facebook and boy am I glad I did.

As a musician with a full-time job, it is very tough to grasp the best and latest tactics that will take my music to new heights. With what sometimes feels like only enough energy to rehearse after work, I constantly struggle with figuring out the right strategy and what to do next with my music.

The DIY musician's blog and podcast have quickly shined some light on the newest and most talked about social media trends happening today.

Topics such as website layout, social media strategy, do's and don'ts, branding, marketing and everything else are discussed and laid out PLAIN and SIMPLE for guys such as myself to understand and comprehend with ease.

I strongly feel that I have a better grasp on the online aspects of my music now that I have came across this awesome blog/website/podcast.

Thank-you Brian!!! I look forward to more blogs in the future.

For musicians but not just for musicians!

If you're a musician, or not, who needs a kick in the pants, but in a cool way, listen to this podcast. I too, like Dan (reviewer), am a musician in a band but have a full time job. So, Brian going through hundreds of blogs every morning and sharing the cream of the crop makes things much easier and less overwhelming. I listen to the podcast on my way to work every morning and it just pumps me up. Not only is it helping me with my music but also with my outlook on everyday aspects of life. Thanks Brian!!
