Fido the tree ,

Terrible! Disappointing! Waste of time.

I found this podcast after listening to Dan Carlin's Hardcore history and wanted another podcast that delved into lesser known details of our past.
When I came across this, I liked the variety of topics and though the husband/wife dynamic and amateurish sound was quaint, but I was in. The first one linked the Lincoln funeral and the Kent State shootings. I thought "why not". But this casual conversation, peppered with "I heard people were sad" and "Did ya know that Mary Lincoln went crazy?" had very little actual discussion on the historical impact of the events. And check the quoted facts! So much hearsay, easily proved wrong by opening a book.
I bailed on this after 3 episodes.
