Voted PODCAST OF THE YEAR by the Xbox Live Community Awards. Video games, entertaining banter and the occasional pie... Michelle Madison and John Jacobsen, along with Game Radar's Matt Bradford, take you inside the outsider's perspective. From the hilarious (and terribly misnamed) 10-second spotlight to drunken listener calls, this is video gaming from the average player's perspective. Listen every week for a new episode. And check out the forums daily for one of the Internet's largest communities of gamers.

An decent podcast with a unique perspective.

I listen every week on my commute as the other podcast I subscribe to doesn't do weekends. If you're a casual gamer looking for a fellow casual gamer's perspective on new releases and gaming news in general, this is the podcast for you. At first I had doubts that they were in fact "outsiders" as not many casual gamers would make a podcast about videogames, and, well, they are outsiders. It seems at least once a show they're totally clueless about something or spreading misinformation. Their rating system works well though. Unlike most who use a score, they rate games either a buy, rent, or skip. This way a really fun game that would get rated a 7 would still be a buy, as it's flaws wouldn't take away from the sheer fun it brings.

you've grown on me

I must admit to not really liking the 1st podcast I listened to. However I always like to give something a chance and I'm glad I did. Now VGO is part of my weekly listening lineup. Tired of the fanboy podcasts and appreciate a more real perspective to reviewing games. Then this is the podcast for you. Like hanging out with your pals. Not always coherent but definitely fun.

Nothing short of great.

Easily the most enjoyable podcast about videogames. 3 of the best hosts around hands down.
