Five out of Five Line Segments on the Elder Sign

Have you ever noticed that nothing you believe in has ever come true except for the things that are terrible?

When you learned the ABCs, did you gaze at the blocks for the other six letters in a fugue state?

Have you ever awoken and wept, yes, wept, because there is nothing?

Have you ever degloved your hands and prayed for the sounds of sibilance?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, seek help. Seek help in Night Vale.

Quite Simply

Better than Desert Bluffs in every possible way.

Community Radio

Welcome to Night Vale is a community radio station in a small desert town, talking about the news and community concerns. When those community concerns include the high school quarterback growing a second head, the Sheriff's secret police, and the City Dog Park that nobody is to acknowledge, you have something amazing.

Think of it NPR, through the the radio wave darkly. Or NPR from Stephen King's New England.

It reminds me of John Hodgman's "Today in Ragnarok" in "That is All" with its blend of the creepy, surreal, and amusing. This is an amazing podcast, which everyone should listen to.

Unless you're from Desert Bluffs. Jerk.
