Starring Oscar® nominee and Golden Globe® winner Chloë Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, Big Love) as a contract killer with a big secret: she's a transgender woman. Train. Kill. Receive payment. Repeat. This has been the routine for Mia (Sevigny) ever since she was taken under the wing of Eddie (Peter Wight), a long-standing resident of the criminal underworld, and transformed into a sharp-shooting assassin. But Mia’s life is turned upside down when she receives a letter from her ex, Wendy, who reveals that Mia has a son, 11-year-old Ryan and that Mia is now his legal guardian. Hit & Miss follows Mia's attempts to mix her killer instincts with her new maternal ones while searching for her own identity

The Transsexual Hit Man (Woman)
As is often the case, the British have gone where "no one has gone before". This an intriguiing idea with excellent characters and actors. Be advised that this is not about the "hits" themselves (of which there is one in every episode) but about the problems of the protagonist trying to fit into a (somwhat) normal family in a rural English town. The only problem is that picturing Chloe as a man is quite a stretch as she is quite a woman (despite the prosthesis).
What a show!
Needed a little more realism
Special props for doing something never really done yet for a TV series. I would have liked this much more with a little bit of realism. I know the HITS is only a backdrop, but I don’t think there has ever been a hit-man/woman who did as many as this in a short amount of time. Not to mention that all these HITS were in such close proximity, etc. to the protagonist. There were some other issues, but perhaps if they had toned it down to just one HIT per season, and have the protagonist work up to that and plan it, etc…
I still wish they had continued with this TV show...
