Been waiting for this to come out on iTunes here for forever; wonderful, fun and entertaining show. Can't wait for season four! :)
Can't wait to Season three!
The acting is less wooden this season (or 'series' as the Brits call it) especially the young actors who play the leads for Arthur and Merlin. Gaius is showing facial range now and is more animated, the actress who plays Morgana is starting to get into the role instead of delivering lines, but the actress who plays Gwen remains one dimensional. Anthony Head is brilliant as Uther and easily conveys both the softness and cruelty of his character. The series started out rather sweetly innocent which seemed at odds with what we know the legends to be. However, in going this route, they have slowly introduced the characters and shown a careful progression of change through story development (using backstory in Uther's case) so we understand how everyone gets to their place in legend. It is done with enough care that we are left feeling empathy or at least some understanding for most actions the characters undertake. Still, because it is such a central story, I am disappointed that I don't feel any chemistry between Arthur and Gwen, thus 4 stars.
i love this show i can watch the whole season in one sitting... cant wait for season 4 hopefully someone else will find out about merlins magic... keep up the great work guys =)
