Liz Porter discovers a fellow high school classmate has otherworldly powers when she’s shot during an altercation at the Crashdown Café.

Liz and Maria come to their new friends’ aid after Sheriff Valenti and Ms. Topolsky show an unusual interest in Max, Isabel and Michael.

Isabel uses her powers to visit Maria in her dreams after she, Max and Michael begin to fear Maria will not be able to keep their secret.

Although Max has decided he must stay away from Liz, he helps her say a final farewell to her comatose grandmother.

Liz panics when her journal, which contains details of how Max used his alien powers to save her life, comes up missing.

A book entitled “Among Us” leads the gang to a geodesic dome where they discover information that may reveal Max, Isabel and Michael’s origins.

Isabel finds a pendant which a Native American named River Dog claims an alien gave to the author of “Among Us” back in 1959.

Alex, who knows nothing about the aliens, is shocked and suspicious when Liz and Isabel say they need a sample of his blood.

While things heat up between Maria and Michael, Liz is forced to tell a disbelieving Alex that Max, Isabel and Michael are aliens.

Angry that Max kept his encounter at the Indian reservation a secret, Michael heads out to the desert alone to confront River Dog.

Max uses his powers to put out a fire in his mother’s kitchen, triggering her memory of how he healed a wounded pigeon when he was a child.

The gang takes advantage of the annual Fathers’ Camping Weekend to check out a reported sighting of an alien landing in Frasier Woods.

The annual UFO convention brings back the couple who saw Max save Liz’s life and the alien hunter who cost Valenti’s father his job when he was sheriff.

A drunken Max and Kyle partake in a bit of male bonding after Liz wins a radio contest that sets her up with the perfect date.

After his adoptive father becomes physically abusive Michael decides the time has come for him to leave Roswell.

Fleeting images that Liz sees whenever she kisses Max lead the couple to a radio tower where they discover an otherworldly metallic orb.

Isabel makes friends with a new girl at school named Tess just as Ms. Topolsky returns with a warning that an alien hunter is tracking down Max.

Although strangely drawn to Tess, Max finds it hard to trust her – so the gang decides to set up a hidden camera in her house.

Isabel and Michael share a shockingly erotic dream while Tess approaches Max with the promise that she will explain everything to him.

A mysterious being called Nasedo assumes Max’s identity and kidnaps Liz in an attempt to trap the secret government agent chasing him.

The gang must work together with Sheriff Valenti, Tess and Nasedo after Max is captured and held at a military base by a special unit of alien hunters.

Even as everyone escapes from the military base Max and Liz realize they are not meant to be together and that Max’s destiny lies with Tess.

Max tries to protect Michael, Isabel, Tess and himself by covering up the murder of Agent Pierce only to have Nasedo reveal that there is yet another enemy tracking down the Royal Four.

After Nasedo’s death Max senses he has to assume more of a leadership position and also realizes that Tess will be safer if she moves in with Sheriff Valenti and Kyle.

While Isabel receives a disturbing vision concerning Tess, Liz discovers a taped phone conversation between herself and Maria in Congresswoman Whitaker’s office.

Michael is stunned when he interviews a soldier who was in Roswell at the time of the “big crash” in 1947 and who reveals that eight, not four, alien pods were recovered.

Liz is visited by an older version of Max who says he has returned from the future because their relationship drove Tess from Roswell, and without Tess the Royal Four will not survive.

As the Skins gather together to receive their new husks, Michael learns that there is a group of renegade Skins who believe he should have ruled their home planet, not Max.

In retaliation for interfering with their Harvest the Skins arrive in Roswell to hunt down Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess.

Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess meet three of the occupants from the other four pods; aliens who look exactly like Michael, Isabel and Tess and who believe they, not the Roswell group, are the Royal Four.

Max and Tess arrive in N.Y.C. to meet with the leaders of their home star system, unaware that Max’s counterpart was killed by the other three counterparts and Max is in similar danger.

In an effort to alleviate his guilt over not using his powers to save a man hit by a car, Max sneaks into a hospital and attempts to heal a little girl dying of cancer.

Isabel enlists Sheriff Valenti’s help after she receives numerous flashes of a young girl being kidnapped then buried alive somewhere near Roswell.

Laurie Dupree, the girl who Isabel and Sheriff Valenti saved, suddenly claims she is being pursued by aliens and the conflicting information on the case causes Valenti his job.

After Michael discovers he’s a dead ringer for Laurie’s grandfather he and Maria help Laurie escape before she can be taken back to the psychiatric hospital her family put her in.

While Maria and Michael keep on eye on Laurie, Max learns that the blue crystals found by Laurie’s burial site are a parasite which has the power to kill everyone on the planet.

Needing to blow off a little steam the gang heads for Las Vegas to spend the fifty thousand dollars Laurie Dupree’s family gave Michael when they attempted to bribe him.

Love and jealousy are in the air as the gang picks their dates for prom night and prepares for what may be the last time they are all together.

Alex’s death in a car crash divides the group as some of them agree with the evidence that points to suicide, some think it was an accident, but Liz is convinced it was murder.

While investigating Alex’s death Liz uncovers information that leads her to believe that the semester Alex supposedly spent in Sweden never really happened.

As Liz continues to look into the last few months of Alex’s life, Tess discovers that the night she and Max spent together has already resulted in a new life growing within her.

Max’s cover is almost blown when a short circuit at the local UFO Center causes Brody to take on the persona of the off-planet alien leader Larek.

As Max, Isabel, Michael and Tess prepare to return to their home planet Liz, with the help of Kyle, finally figures out who murdered Alex.

Max and Liz realize that the only way to gain entry into a secret underground government storage facility is to stage a fake robbery in the convenience store built above.

Michael takes a job as a security guard at a pharmaceutical company, Isabel and Jesse’s relationship deepens, and Liz and Max secretly meet each other despite Liz’s father’s objections.

When Isabel contemplates marrying Jesse she encounters Alex’s ghost who tries to change her mind, and Maria is jealous of all the time Michael is spending with his new co-workers.

The mysterious death of a man who once threatened Michael leads Max to Los Angeles in search of the second shape-shifter that was sent to Earth to protect Max, Isabel, Michael and Tess.

Max persuades the shape-shifter to take him to a military research center housing their spaceship, and learns the key to the ship is also a communication device which can link him to his son.

As Isabel struggles with everyone’s disapproval over her upcoming marriage to Jesse, her former lover from her home planet appears in her dreams then shows up at her wedding.

Max and Michael follow the newlyweds to their honeymoon destination after Kyle tells them that Isabel’s former lover, Kivar, was at Isabel and Jesse’s wedding.

When Maria’s old boyfriend arrives in Roswell he makes her realize how much she’s sacrificed to be involved with the aliens and has her questioning what she really wants in life.

When an autistic boy approaches Max and calls him daddy, Max becomes convinced that his own son is somehow trying to communicate with him through the autistic child.

Everyone ends up spending New Year’s Eve with someone else’s significant other: Maria and Max go to a rave, Isabel watches a movie with Kyle, and Liz watches over a passed out Michael.

When Eric, a reporter and one of Jesse’s old college buddies, arrives in town and hears a series of strange stories about Isabel, Michael and Max, he becomes convinced the trio are aliens.

When Liz begins to feel ill she suspects it is connected to when Max brought her back from the dead, and Maria gets an opportunity to pursue her life’s big dream as a singer.

Two thousand miles away from Roswell Liz settles in at Winnaman Academy while Maria has a disappointing experience in New York City at her first professional recording session.

When Isabel is shot Jesse finally learns that she, Michael and Max are aliens, and Liz tries to reach someone in Roswell after she experiences a strong feeling that Max is dead.

While Max is busy spying on Jesse, Michael retrieves all the alien artifacts the group has locked away and becomes convinced that he is now the true king of their home planet.

Michael grows suspicious after witnessing the collision of a UFO and an Air Force jet because he saw that the pilot parachuted to safety, yet the Air Force reports that the pilot was killed.

Tess returns to Earth with Max’s son, Zan, explaining that Kivar betrayed them by rejecting Zan as the heir to the throne and was planning to have the baby killed.

When Liz begins to experience visions in which she, Max, Michael and Isabel are shot to death during graduation, the gang realizes the time has come to leave Roswell.
