a true groundbreaker!
if it weren't for this show , t.v. would be a very different landscape by now. this show paved the way for everything we consider "cutting edge" or even "radical" . ( as if there is anything out there you can call that ! ) this show is a soap opera on LSD ! it is weird and wonderful , thought provoking and a little bit of it seems to still stay with you even after it's gone--it haunts you. give it a chance , firt watchers and i guarantee if you enjoy the strange this will never let you down. watching this is like getting a chance to be in david lynch's warped, but fun , litttle mind. enjoy!
Best TV Series Ever
Twin Peaks was unlike anything we had ever seen before on television, and it paved the way for much of what we see today. During season 1, when the phenomenon was at it's height, Twin Peaks debate would dominate water coolers and anticipation for the next episode would build with intensity until it came. "Who Killed Laura Palmer" was the table talk of almost everyone I knew. It was something really special.
This entire series is exceptional. Season 2 suffers a little because of the reveal at the end of Season 1, and the fact that Lynch wasn't available, so the director's chair was a revolving door, but the finale is absolutely superb. I highly recommended this series to anyone who hasn't seen it before, or someone who hasn't seen it since it was on the tube. It's pure genius.
Best tv show ever created, coop is one of the greatest characters ever!
